Hyderabad
Wild School: Hyderabad
What if the most important classroom was outside all along? Wild School is a 3-day immersive wilderness experience for children aged 9–12 , hosted within the regenerated 132-acre Beforest Hyderabad Collective. Over three days, children cook with rocks, care for cows and farm, hike rocky hills, swim in lakes, create nature art, explore after dark, and learn to navigate the outdoors with confidence and curiosity. Guided by Certified Wilderness facilitators , every activity is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence, resilience, curiosity and a deeper connection with nature! Before there were classrooms, there were rivers to follow, stars to question, and stories carried by the wind. For most of human history, the world itself was our teacher. Wild School is an invitation to return to that way of learning. With no screens , they rediscover the simple joy of making real connections with each other, and with the quiet rhythm of the land. With only 6 participants, the experience ensures every child is seen, supported, and encouraged to participate at their own pace. A few days in the wild can change how children see nature. Sometimes, it changes how they see themselves too!

Coorg
A Monsoon Welcome
What do you want your family to experience this monsoon - traffic jams or waterfalls? A Monsoon Welcome is a 3-day, 2-night immersive family experience hosted from 26–28 June 2026 within the 300+ acre Beforest Poomaale Collective in Coorg. Designed around the arrival of monsoon in the rainforest, the experience brings together guided nature walks, waterfall hikes, stream explorations, biodiversity discovery, nature-inspired activities, and unhurried family time in one of the most biodiverse landscapes in the world. Only 6 families will be part of this edition. This is the time when the forest comes fully alive . Streams turn wild, mist drifts through the rainforest, frogs begin calling through the night, and every trail bursts with life and every possible shade of green. Families spend their days walking through forests , crossing flowing streams , discovering the biodiversity that thrives during this season, and sometimes, simply getting drenched in the rain together. But beyond the exploration, there is something deeply nostalgic about experiencing monsoon this way — slowing down with warm meals, watching the rain from the bungalow, drying off after a long walk, and sharing the kind of moments that quietly stay with you long after the season has passed. Every walk, activity, and pause is thoughtfully designed and gently guided by expert facilitators and naturalists to help families experience the forest, and each other more deeply. Far away from crowded tourist destinations, this is an invitation to experience monsoon not through a window, but from within the rainforest itself. Because some monsoons are meant to be lived, not waited out.

The Glowing Forest
For a few nights each year, the forest learns to glow! Fireflies. Conserved Landscape. One unforgettable spectacle. For a few nights each year, the forests of Coorg begin to glow. As dusk deepens, thousands of fireflies rise from the forest floor, their quiet pulses of light flickering through the trees - turning the landscape into a living constellation. Soon it becomes impossible to tell where the forest ends and the stars begin. The Glowing Forest is our invitation to witness this rare phenomenon from Beforest landscapes - where nature still thrives, undisturbed. Over 3 days and 2 nights, you slow down to the rhythm of the forest. Walk quiet trails. Listen to the wild. Watch the night come alive with light. But this is more than just witnessing a spectacle. Joining us is Dr. Mathi Thumilan - conservationist, firefly expert, and co-founder of Wild & Dark Earth (WiDE), contributor to the IUCN Firefly Specialist Group and National Geographic Explorer initiative. With him, the glowing forest becomes a story of ecology, understanding the forest rhythm, and why spaces like these must be protected. To experience this phenomenon in two distinct landscapes, we’re hosting two intimate groups. Hammiyala Collective Camping under the stars Set within a 108-acre hilltop forest , Hammiyala offers the rawest way to experience the glowing forest. Here you’ll camp beneath ancient trees , where fireflies flicker through the canopy and the mist drapes the whole landscape. Poomaale Collectives Blyton bungalow stay Within the 304-acre Poomaale rainforest collectives , you’ll stay at the Blyton Bungalow , overlooking the dense rainforest. Nominated among ArchDaily’s Best Buildings of 2025 , this architectural gem offers a comfortable stay deep within one of the richest biodiversity landscapes on the planet. Some experiences are beautiful. Some are rare. This one is both! A forest glowing with fireflies beneath a sky full of stars is something you never quite forget.

Wild School
Not all learning happens in classrooms. Some of it begins in the wild! Set within the 300+ acre Poomaale Collective in Coorg , Wild School is a curated, nature-based experience designed for (10-16 year old) children to step out of overstimulated urban environments into a living, breathing conserved landscape. This is not a camp of activities, but a hands-on journey through forests, grasslands, streams and hidden trails - where children explore, observe and learn directly from the nature around them. From hikes to time spent by waterfalls and streams, every part of the experience unfolds within the safety of our private land, allowing for both freedom and care. Through hands-on experiences like foraging, cooking, learning outdoor skills, and observing alongside naturalists, children don’t just stay engaged - they grow more confident, empathetic, and grounded. With no screens , they rediscover the simple joy of making real connections with each other, and with the quiet rhythm of the land. The program is consciously curated by trained and experienced facilitators who take great joy in introducing outdoors to children. We have both male and female facilitators, certified in Wilderness First Aid ensuring to balance exploration with safety. The landscape itself becomes the teacher - located in one of the world's biodiversity hotspots, being home to endemic and rare species, with fireflies and stars lighting up the forest. Limited batch size of 15 participants, intentional design, and a deeply immersive setting ensure that every child is seen, supported, and gently encouraged to slow down, notice more, and engage with nature in a meaningful way. A few days here don’t just fill time - they change how children see the world.
Mumbai
Starry Nights: Mumbai
Meet Us Where the Stars Outnumber the City Lights! When was the last time you looked up? For thousands of years, people have turned to the night sky to navigate, mark the changing seasons, tell stories, pray and celebrate. Long before maps and calendars shaped our lives, the stars helped us make sense of the world around us. Surrounded by wild hills and open horizons, Beforest's 100+ acre Mumbai Collective offers some of the clearest winter skies. Darkness settles over the hills, stars appear one by one, planets come into view, and familiar constellations stretch across the horizon. Far away from light pollution , the landscape makes a perfect setting to experience the night the way it was meant to be seen. Starry Nights is an overnight camping experience, guided by experienced astronomers ! You'll journey across the night sky through high-powered telescopes as you spot planets, trace constellations, and discover the science, mythology, and cultural stories that have connected people to the cosmos for thousands of years. Conversations by the bonfire and camping under a moon-lit sky carry the night forward. At dawn, a magical sunrise and birdsong welcome you back to earth. Looking up has always reminded us of two things: how small we are, and how deeply connected we are to everything around us. Sometimes, all it takes is one night to remember both!

Hands & Soil
A Saturday that helps you connect with land. Hands & Soil is a farm-volunteering experience at the Beforest Hyderabad Collective , created for those who want to step away from screens and spend a day doing something real, grounding, and deeply satisfying. This is not a commercial farm or a productivity-driven setup. The Beforest Collective is a fully organic, living landscape , guided by permaculture principles - where soil health, biodiversity, and long-term balance matter more than yield. What you step into is not just a farm, but an ecosystem being carefully nurtured. There’s no fixed agenda here. Each session responds to what the land needs that day. You may be harvesting, planting, mulching, composting, watering, or helping with everyday upkeep. Some days offer harvests; others offer care. Both are equally essential. What you gain isn’t instant output, but perspective . Time working with your hands, understanding how food grows in a regenerative system, and experiencing the quiet satisfaction that comes from patience, effort, and showing up - even when the reward isn’t immediate. The day includes a simple farm-to-table meal , prepared using what’s grown on the land - honest food that tastes better because you’ve been part of the process. Timing: 10 am – 4 pm Group size: Limited to 10 participants Children who are comfortable with physical farm work and can engage independently are welcome. Hands & Soil is for anyone craving a slower Saturday , a deeper relationship with food , and the quiet fulfilment of contributing to something real. Get your hands dirty. Connect with the land.

Bhopal
Forest Ranger Experience
Not visitors. Not tourists. For a day, your family becomes forest rangers. Set within the 122-acre Beforest Bhopal Collective - a landscape under ecological restoration. This experience unfolds on land once impacted by quarrying and over-extraction, now being carefully regenerated - with rebuilding soil, restoring natural water systems, and bringing back native biodiversity. Bordering the forests of Ratapani Tiger Reserve , people step beyond sightseeing and into participation. Guided by naturalists Dr. Sameer and DP Shrivastava , you move through the landscape with awareness — noticing pugmarks, bird calls, textures, and the lesser known residents of the forest. This is not about chasing wildlife or ticking sightings. It’s about curiosity, shared discovery and relaxed time in the forest! All meals are thoughtfully served outdoors beneath the forest canopy, prepared with fresh, organic ingredients. This is an experience in itself! Breakfast unfolds under open skies, lunch is laid out deep within the woods, and evening snacks arrive at sunset - timed with the landscape turning gold. You dine immersed in the wild, accompanied only by birdsong and shifting light. While the collective lies close to protected forests, every exploration is guided and designed with safety in mind. The day unfolds gently, with time to pause and enjoy the rare luxury of an afternoon nap under the trees. Participants leave feeling enriched, restored, and deeply connected. Limited to just 12 participants, this experience ensures personal attention, unrushed exploration, and meaningful connection - both with nature and with each other.
