What if we told you Hyderabad's greatest heritage isn't Biryani, but its rocks? Hosted in collaboration with Outdoor Classroom - The Rock Show is an immersive experience that explores the ancient monolithic landscapes that shaped the Deccan Plateau and the city of Hyderabad. Through stories, rock climbing, hikes, food, conversations, and guided explorations , participants will discover the remarkable geological history hidden in plain sight - landscapes that have existed for millions of years and continue to define the character of the region today. But this isn't just about geology, it's about culture! The rocks of the Deccan are among the oldest visible landscapes on Earth. They have witnessed continents drift, species evolve, and civilizations rise and fall. Yet within a few decades, many of these formations have been quarried, blasted, and built over. Unlike forests, they cannot regenerate. The Rock Show is an invitation to look again - to notice the landscapes we often overlook, understand why they matter, and reconnect with a part of Hyderabad's identity that is slowly disappearing. The experience takes place at the 132 acre Beforest Hyderabad Collective, one of the few places where the original Deccan rockscape still stands largely intact and where we continue learning how to live with the land, rather than over it. You'll never see rocks the same way again!

The forest leaves clues everywhere, are you looking? Set within the 300-acre Poomaale Collective in Coorg , this three-day biodiversity experience unfolds across a living landscape of forests, grasslands, streams, and ongoing ecological restoration. For a few weeks each year post monsoon, the forest reveals what it keeps hidden the rest of the time . As the land awakens after the monsoon, frogs emerge from hidden corners, fungi appear overnight, reptiles bask in fleeting sunlight, and the forest hums with life. Every fallen log, puddle, and patch of leaf litter seems to hold a secret waiting to be discovered . Exploring alongside experienced naturalists , you'll learn to slow down, follow clues, and notice the stories unfolding all around you . This isn't about chasing sightings or ticking species off a list. It's about understanding the relationships that shape a thriving ecosystem and discovering what becomes visible when you begin to look more closely. Created for nature enthusiasts, wildlife lovers, students, and curious explorers, The Jungle Book of Secrets offers a rare opportunity to experience the forest at one of its most dynamic moments of the year. You may leave with muddy boots, a camera full of photographs, and a hundred new questions. But more than anything, you'll return seeing the forest differently.

Meet the Forest's Greatest Engineers! For a brief window after the monsoon, the forest reveals one of its richest displays of fungal life. Delicate coral fungi, tiny cup fungi, glowing mushrooms, and countless other forms emerge from the damp forest floor, transforming it almost overnight. Some last only hours, others a few days, before quietly disappearing once again. Beneath this fleeting spectacle lies one of nature's most important kingdoms. Fungi recycle fallen wood, return nutrients to the soil, form vast underground partnerships with plants, and help sustain the intricate relationships that keep forests alive. Some even play a role in influencing local weather patterns! Join us for a three-day immersive fungi trail through Beforest's 300-acre Poomaale Collective in Coorg . Bordering the Brahmagiri Forest Reserve, the post-monsoon rains bring an explosion of fungal life across the rainforest, transforming the forest floor into a living gallery of shapes, colours, and textures. Guided by experienced naturalists , you'll discover a world that's easy to overlook —one that reshapes the way you see the forest beneath your feet. This isn't your average nature walk. This is stepping into a world only few people get to see. This is the one you'll tell stories about!

Meet Us Where the Stars Outnumber the City Lights! When was the last time you looked up? For thousands of years, people have turned to the night sky to navigate, mark the changing seasons, tell stories, pray and celebrate. Long before maps and calendars shaped our lives, the stars helped us make sense of the world around us. Surrounded by wild hills and open horizons, Beforest's 100+ acre Mumbai Collective offers some of the clearest winter skies. Darkness settles over the hills, stars appear one by one, planets come into view, and familiar constellations stretch across the horizon. Far away from light pollution , the landscape makes a perfect setting to experience the night the way it was meant to be seen. Starry Nights is an overnight camping experience, guided by experienced astronomers ! You'll journey across the night sky through high-powered telescopes as you spot planets, trace constellations, and discover the science, mythology, and cultural stories that have connected people to the cosmos for thousands of years. Conversations by the bonfire and camping under a moon-lit sky carry the night forward. At dawn, a magical sunrise and birdsong welcome you back to earth. Looking up has always reminded us of two things: how small we are, and how deeply connected we are to everything around us. Sometimes, all it takes is one night to remember both!
For those who believe coffee is more than a drink - it’s a journey. At our 300+ acre Poomaale Collective in Coorg , coffee is grown the way forests intend - under native shade trees, alongside birds, insects, and wild mammals, within one of the biodiversity hotspots in the world. This is not a plantation visit. It’s a rare chance to step into a landscape where coffee and wilderness exist together . Because farming here is forest-first and slow, biodiversity thrives, and that biodiversity shapes every cup. Soil health, shade, rainfall, fermentation, and time come together to create coffees that are complex, balanced, and deeply rooted in place. This is specialty coffee at its source - unhurried, intentional, and alive. Over the experience, you’ll walk rainforest trails, handpick cherries, explore processing and fermentation, and brew coffee right where it grows. You’ll taste coffees in different stages of their journey while being part of a mesmerizing landscape. Explore waterfalls, hike to Shola grassland and have picnic by the stream! Designed for coffee lovers, slow travellers, couples, and curious families , the Coffee Safari is a rare blend of learning, wilderness, and luxury - where we get access to something most people never get to see. Join the Coffee Safari. Come experience the wild side of specialty coffee

For a few nights each year, the forest learns to glow! Fireflies. Conserved Landscape. One unforgettable spectacle. For a few nights each year, the forests of Coorg begin to glow. As dusk deepens, thousands of fireflies rise from the forest floor, their quiet pulses of light flickering through the trees - turning the landscape into a living constellation. Soon it becomes impossible to tell where the forest ends and the stars begin. The Glowing Forest is our invitation to witness this rare phenomenon from Beforest landscapes - where nature still thrives, undisturbed. Over 3 days and 2 nights, you slow down to the rhythm of the forest. Walk quiet trails. Listen to the wild. Watch the night come alive with light. But this is more than just witnessing a spectacle. Joining us is Dr. Mathi Thumilan - conservationist, firefly expert, and co-founder of Wild & Dark Earth (WiDE), contributor to the IUCN Firefly Specialist Group and National Geographic Explorer initiative. With him, the glowing forest becomes a story of ecology, understanding the forest rhythm, and why spaces like these must be protected. To experience this phenomenon in two distinct landscapes, we’re hosting two intimate groups. Hammiyala Collective Camping under the stars Set within a 108-acre hilltop forest , Hammiyala offers the rawest way to experience the glowing forest. Here you’ll camp beneath ancient trees , where fireflies flicker through the canopy and the mist drapes the whole landscape. Poomaale Collectives Blyton bungalow stay Within the 304-acre Poomaale rainforest collectives , you’ll stay at the Blyton Bungalow , overlooking the dense rainforest. Nominated among ArchDaily’s Best Buildings of 2025 , this architectural gem offers a comfortable stay deep within one of the richest biodiversity landscapes on the planet. Some experiences are beautiful. Some are rare. This one is both! A forest glowing with fireflies beneath a sky full of stars is something you never quite forget.

In a world that won’t slow down, this land sets a different pace! 3 days. Camping under the stars. 12 people. Countless slow moments. In the world outside, everything moves fast - notifications, deadlines, traffic, noise. At Hammiyala , time moves differently. Tucked within a 108-acre collective between the Kottebetta and Mandalpatti ranges , in the lush Pushpagiri forest landscape of Coorg , Hammiyala is a place where mist rolls slowly across hills, forests breathe quietly around you, and the sky feels impossibly wide. SloMo is our invitation to experience this landscape the way nature intended - slowly. Over three days and two nights , you’ll camp under the misty skies and settle into the rhythm of the land. Mornings begin with misty horizons, afternoons stretch into long forest walks, and evenings gather around a warm fire as the hills fade into night. One of the highlights of the experience is a 4 km guided hike along an unexplored trail in the Kottebetta range . The trail winds through quiet forests before opening out to breathtaking ridge walks and sweeping views of the surrounding hills - the kind that make you pause, breathe, and simply take it all in. But the real magic isn’t just where you are - it’s how you experience it. When you slow down, the forest begins to reveal itself: the texture of moss under your fingers, the distant calls of birds across valleys, the quiet movement of clouds drifting over the Western Ghats. To keep the experience intimate and immersive, the experience is limited to just 12 participants - small enough for meaningful conversations, and quiet enough for the land to be heard. For three days, the forest sets the pace. And somewhere between a misty sunrise, a ridge-top view, and a quiet night under the stars, something shifts. You stop chasing moments. You start noticing them.

What if the most important classroom was outside all along? Wild School is a 3-day immersive wilderness experience for children aged 9–12 , hosted within the regenerated 132-acre Beforest Hyderabad Collective. Over three days, children cook with rocks, care for cows and farm, hike rocky hills, swim in lakes, create nature art, explore after dark, and learn to navigate the outdoors with confidence and curiosity. Guided by Certified Wilderness facilitators , every activity is thoughtfully designed to encourage independence, resilience, curiosity and a deeper connection with nature! Before there were classrooms, there were rivers to follow, stars to question, and stories carried by the wind. For most of human history, the world itself was our teacher. Wild School is an invitation to return to that way of learning. With no screens , they rediscover the simple joy of making real connections with each other, and with the quiet rhythm of the land. With only 6 participants, the experience ensures every child is seen, supported, and encouraged to participate at their own pace. A few days in the wild can change how children see nature. Sometimes, it changes how they see themselves too!
